This hot plate stirrer features an efficient, 900-watt infrared heater that can boil a litre of water over 30% faster than a conventional, 1200-watt ceramic hotplate. Rare earth magnets also provide powerful stirring up to 15 litres, and feedback control from 100 to 1500 rpm. The chemical resistant, ceramic top plate has a 5.5" (14 cm) diameter heating area that stays cool around the edges to help prevent accidental burns.
