Measures the uptake of oxygen by an organism during respiration. The
Respirometer comprises two test tubes (24 x 150mm) fitted with rubber
stoppers, plastic three way stopcocks, wire gauze and a manometer (capillary
tubing 1mm bore) which is attached to a white plastic board. The Respirometer
is designed to be placed in a water bath (tall form beaker) with the manometer
supported over the edge.
