Parafilm M, 100mm 38m-Parafilm is a two way stretch sealing film with numerous uses in the laboratory. It is resistant to polar substances such as saline solutions, inorganic acid and alkaline solutions for up to 48 hours. Parafilm is also resistant to most lower alcohols but is unstable in many common solvents including diethyl ether and carbon tetrachloride. The film can stretch up to 200% and will cling around irregular shapes and surfaces.
