Orbit DNA-RNA Model-This model shows a 12 base pair section of DNA in the process of transcribing RNA. Simple and easy-to-use it is ideal for demonstrating the nature of DNA and RNA and how DNA transcribes RNA. The model shows the five bases in red, green, blue, grey and white, the sugar rings in black, and the phosphate groups in red. Yellow tubes join the sugar and phosphate groups. White pieces show the hydrogen bonding between the bases. The separate pieces can be joined and un-joined so you can demonstrate the transcription of RNA. Available as a kit for easy self-assembly, with building instructions and transcription activity guide.
