All the parts are locked to the microscope.The microscope has anti-bacterial paint on the metal parts and anti-fungus coating on the optical (glass) parts. Has a LED indicator on the back to show if main power is switched on and if optional battery is charged. The microscope offers standard 3 types of electrical use in one microscope: 1. 100~230V connection through the included power cable 2. Recharge automatically while connected to the electrical power.
